Ecological solutions in warehouses

The following paper presents the concept of green logistics with special attention to warehouse areas. Basic information on the certification of green warehouses was extracted. The main objective of the study was to characterize selected ecological solutions used in modern warehouses. The systems whose operation is based on heat recovery are mentioned. In addition, the advantages of air destratifiers, LEDs and warehouse automation as effective ecological tools are described.
